DPDP Star is provided by CynorSense Solutions Private Limited. It is software that helps an organisation meet its own duties under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. It is not legal advice and it is not a Consent Manager. By registering you accept these terms for your organisation, and you confirm you are authorised to do so.

Plans and payment

Registering on this website does not charge anything, and the Free plan carries no charge. Paid plans for websites and CMS platforms (Starter, Standard and Growth) are billed in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay or in US dollars (USD), with a 14-day free trial on the Starter plan and 20% off on annual billing. For sites installing DPDP Star for Wix through the Wix App Market, Wix processes payment at the USD price shown at checkout; section 14 of the terms published on dpdpa.support applies to those payments, and if it conflicts with these terms, these terms prevail.

Processing of visitor data

Your organisation is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data of its visitors that DPDP Star records, and CynorSense Solutions Private Limited is your Data Processor (section 8(2) of the Act). We process that data only on your instructions and to provide DPDP Star; keep it separate from other organisations; protect it with reasonable security safeguards; tell you without delay if we become aware of a personal data breach affecting it; and erase it or return it when you ask or when your organisation is closed, except personal data and logs we must keep for one year under rule 8(3) of the DPDP Rules, 2025, or longer under another law, which we erase when that period ends. We use service providers for hosting (a server in India) and for email (Microsoft 365, including codes and links). We tell you before we change who processes the data.

Liability

Each side is liable to the other for direct loss only. Our total liability for all claims in connection with DPDP Star is limited to the fees paid for DPDP Star, including through Wix, in the 12 months before the claim arose. This limit does not apply to fraud, to wilful misconduct, to a personal data breach affecting your visitors’ data that we cause by breaching these terms, or to any liability that the law of India does not allow to be limited.

Ending these terms

Either side may end these terms on 30 days’ written notice, or immediately if the other side commits a material breach and does not fix it within a reasonable time. When they end, we erase or return the data as described above. We may publish a new version of these terms. We will email your administrator at least 30 days before it applies, and you may end these terms before then.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad have exclusive jurisdiction.
